From every scroll and double-tap to every skip, advertisements are crawling all over our fingertips today advertisement plays a very crucial role every business regardless of their industry or audience the sole purpose of running any business is of course to sell and make a profit but in today’s ultra-connected world a company cannot just create a channel on social media put out some posts and run a few ads and expect people to buy their product or service. There’s a lot more to advertising than just selling.
With hundreds of competitors and millions of alternatives to choose from, persuading the customers to select a product/service over others is indeed an art in itself.
1. It Tells A Story.
Every product on enterprise has its own story, advertisement serves as a great medium to communicate with its audience. It is a natural human tendency that a decision-making process is influenced by our emotions to a certain extent, which is why stories sell!
People Buy With Their Emotions And Then Justify With Logic.
Every good story leaves its mark. And every time people fall in love with a story they fall in love with its product.
2. Connects People.
People appreciate relatability. And creating relatable content is not as easy as it sounds. I want to ensure the content has to be relevant to your target audience and it should reflect the company’s value as well. Advertising does all this and more it helps create an emotional impact on the audience which builds relationships and a sense of loyalty between the customer and the enterprise.
3. Sets Out A Culture.
Be it watching TV, scrolling through social media, or reading an article, we are surrounded by advertisements. Be it 5 men in black suits singing “blackberry boys” or a little kid followed by a pug. Every good advertisement has set out its own era. No wonder why we remember almost every brand for AIB’s Tribute to Classic Indian Ads.
Advertisements have a way of influencing people’s emotions. And in today’s fickle world, people accept and carry on trends much faster than ever before. In fact, today trends are a very short life but they do get positive engagement.
4. Rewards Customers.
Advertisement is a great magnet to pull more customers by giving out amazing deals and offers. That’s the reason why we couldn’t deny that lastest Amazon deal on those great pairs of shoes, even though we know we don’t need them.
Rewarding customers through promotional advertisements is not a new endeavor. In fact, that is one of the major reasons for running ads. Rewards motivate customers to pledge their loyalty to the brand.
5. Improves Industrial Visibility.
The major motive of any ad campaign is to grab people’s attention and improve engagement. A good ad campaign makes a company stand out, it improves the visibility and audience reach. This is not only beneficial in terms of gaining customers but it also helps attract business partners and build a corporate image.
A company’s advertising approach reflects all that the company’s stands for hence, it would be safe to say that advertising plays a major role in setting out a brand’s image in the industry.
Advertisement is not a one-fold job; it goes much deeper than we think and plays a very big role in building the company’s image, gaining customers loyalty, and improving visibility.
